Quality Engineer

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 90,000 – $100,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, bi-lingual Quality Engineer to join our team in the Aurora, IL office.  We offer very competitive pay, benefits, and relocation package!

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the creating a plan to improve the business processes and increase production output. Duties include creating the company’s quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance. Quality engineer will also be responsible for creation of documentation that reports issues and errors relating to the production process with efforts placed to find a solution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Set-up approval method & Record maintenance.
  • Ensure & share the Daily quality report mechanism.
  • Ensure the Random sampling plan verification.
  • Ensure the Pre dispatch clearance for each container.
  • Ensure the defect free product output by Poke yoke mechanism.
  • Ensure compliance to timeline and quality for various phases of engineering process.
  • Develop and execute various improvements to Quality process and develop new processes on same.
  • Capable to analyse the Problems & identify the root cause for elimination.
  • Capable to understand the Critical process, monitoring & ensure the defect free product.
  • Perform quality assessments for process and monitor all activities for measuring processes.
  • Monitor projects, identify risks and issues and prepare documents for same.
  • Train various teams for quality procedures and ensure compliance to best practices.
  • Build up team coordination & Leadership skills.
  • Should be Good Knowledge in 5s ,7 QC tools & FMEA tools.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 5+ years of professional experience in a Manufacturing or Quality Engineering capacity
  • Must be able to speak and write fluently in Spanish
  • Demonstrated project management/leadership skills
  • High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • In-depth understanding of industry market trends and conditions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, highly motivated and work well with given a short lead-time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently in a team environment
