HR Business Partner

Job Description:

The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to Operations Leaders and acts as the main HR advisor to deploy HR programs and solutions. The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting our employees and fostering a positive work culture. Primary responsibilities include collaborating closely with various departments to provide strategic HR guidance and support, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This is an onsite role that requires strong interpersonal skills, exceptional HR knowledge, and a passion for driving employee engagement and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with management to address employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, promotions, and annual reviews.
  • Facilitates performance management process, merit planning cycle, calibration sessions, and other HR programs.
  • Provides guidance in building development plans, training and leadership training curriculum and events; and counsels managers with career development communications and dialogue with direct reports.
  • Implementation of engagement surveys, leading programs to improve engagement and employee experience, follows through completion on action plans to improve scores, presents results to leadership, facilitates and leads focus groups.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish Required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, five to eight years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. This includes having the ability to influence management when appropriate.
  • Understands the organizations value proposition and can articulate fundamentals of business and how the units tie together.
  • Able to champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans.
  • Experience in all HR concentration areas such as benefits; compensation; workforce planning and employment; employee relations; occupational health, safety and security; strategic management; employee development; and training.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strategic thinker who can see long-term goals and balance against short and intermediate term needs.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
